Our team includes internationally-trained ENT specialists and head and neck surgeons, anaesthetists and clinical staff dedicated to outstanding patient care.
Dr Rachel Vassiliadis
Dr Rachel Vassiliadis is a senior anaesthetist who practices mainly as a VMO in large metropolitan hospitals. She is a passionate and engaging teacher who specialises in patient centric care, error reduction, ENT and obstetric anaesthesia. Her research interests centre around airway management and anaesthetic and pain management in the Emergency Department.
Dr Vassiliadis strives to live her life and interact with people in a compassionate, empathic, logical and common-sense manner. These traits have served her well in her clinical career.
Dr Nathan Royan
Dr Nathan Royan is an anaesthetist with positions as a VMO at Royal North Shore, Hornsby and Northern Beaches public hospitals and North Shore Private, Castlecrag and Mater private hospitals. He completed his anaesthetic training at the Royal North Shore Hospital and underwent further fellowship training with a Clinical/Research Fellowship in Neuroanaesthesia at Toronto Western Hospital.
Dr Royan is passionate about teaching and research and has formalised these with a post-graduate certificate in clinical education and with published research in the area of anaesthesia for intraoperative neuromonitoring. Nathan is a strong advocate for patient care and safety and continually strives to improve his patient’s perioperative experiences and outcomes.
Dr Chaminda Wijeratne
Dr Chaminda Wijeratne holds both private and public hospital appointments at the Sydney Adventist Hospital, North Shore Private Hospital, Macquarie University Hospital, Northern Beaches Hospital and Norwest Private Hospital as well as public appointments at Royal North Shore Hospital, Concord and Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospitals. He has completed two overseas fellowships including a Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine Fellowship at the Sunnybrook Hospital and The Holland Centre in Toronto and a Paediatric Anaesthetic Fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) Toronto.
Dr Wijeratne is dedicated to the provision of world class evidence based and patient oriented care. He has special interests in quality improvement and has completed a postgraduate diploma in Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Sydney.
Courtney, Practice Manager
Courtney is the Practice Manager at North View ENT. She has a background in health care delivery with a long history of experience practising as a registered nurse and midwife at tertiary hospitals in Sydney. Courtney is privileged to work closely with patients and their families to provide an exemplar standard of service to her patients.
